Özge Okur is a PhD candidate at the on the faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at Delft University of Technology. She obtained her Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering at Aalto University in Finland and her Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree from Middle East Technical University in Turkey. Her research interests are power systems, distributed energy resources and smart grids and optimization.

Her current work involves enhancing demand response by the integration of demand response aggregators into current European electricity market; challenges and benefits that arise from participation of aggregators, defining their roles and their interactions with other market players, as well as the regulatory requirements.
